Architectural design assistant
at MG Interiors
MG Interiors has an opportunity for an architectural design assistant in London, to work on hotel and high-end residential projects.
We are a small interior focused design office based in Putney.
Candidates profile:
- experienced architectural designer or interior architect/designer with strong design and detailing skills ideally in the hotel and/or high-end residential sector
- candidate should have very strong technical design skills and needs to be able to develop high level of interior architectural drawing packages independently and reliably
- ability to produce interior construction details
- strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, 3D-modelling and InDesign software
- ability to work reliably and thoroughly, exceptional attention to detail is essential
- ability to develop full specifications independently
- interest and experience in F&E. Ability of sourcing F&E items and samples, knowledge of suppliers
- confident in speaking and communicating in english, Greek communication skills would be a plus but not essential
- strong management and admin skills and being able to work towards deadlines
- candidates must have worked in established design or architectural practices in the UK before for at least three/four years’ on high-end residential or hospitality projects and understand the design process
Initial two-three months contract, job can start immediately or in January. We are also interested in applicants on a part-time/freelance basis (three-four days a week).
