JDRM Architects is looking for a recently qualified architect or experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its growing studio in Brighton, UK.

JDRM Architects is a small practice with a broad portfolio of project types and sizes. The practice is looking for a recently qualified architect or an architectural assistant with at least three years’ post-Part 2 experience. We are creating this new position to assist with our increasing workload.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to grow with a small up and coming practice.

Requirements:

• minimum three years’ post-Part 2 experience
• experience across all RIBA work stages
• excellent design skills and technical understanding
• strong written communication and graphic design skills
• confident in communicating with clients, contractors, and consultants
• knowledge of the UK planning system and building regulations
• the ability to work as part of a diverse team whilst also taking on individual, independent responsibility for specific tasks
• proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Suite software
• applicants must be eligible to work in the UK

The role:

• you will be part of a small team and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of project types and sizes across all RIBA work stages
• you will work as part of a team to design and detail projects of the highest standard
• you will help develop projects from initial concepts through to completion
• this is a full-time position based in our Brighton studio
• start dates can be flexible for the right candidate
• competitive salary dependant on experience
