Business development representative
at Build Team
Build Team is hiring a business development representative to join its growing team in London.
We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic business development representative to join our vibrant, expanding team.
This role plays an integral part in the client journey by introducing our professional services, explaining the Build Team process and understanding the requirements of the customer.
The exciting role encompasses both virtual client interactions as well as the expectation of in-person site visits, to ensure our service proposition is delivered in a professional and tailored manner to the individual homeowner.
As part of our greener London initiative, we will be trialling site visits on a Build Team electric bike and therefore the applicant will need to feel confident and comfortable cycling to site visits. Even better if you are a keen cyclist!
We work from the office Tuesday to Thursday each week, with Mondays and Fridays being remote days where team members can choose to come to the office or work from home as they prefer. We expect the successful candidate to be available to attend site visits Monday to Friday as required.
Responsibilities will include:
- to conduct introductory presentations about Build Team and the services we provide
- capture accurate and relevant information during the consultation meeting
- to generate quotes and arrange follow-up meetings with a member of our architectural team
- track enquiries utilising our CRM system
- manage handover of the client to the architectural team
- maintain a high level of service at all times
- achieving set monthly KPI’s and reporting results on a weekly basis to the management team
Skills required:
- graduate calibre, with an interest and aptitude for property or design
- a clear understanding of sales processes
- previous experience of one year in a sales role – preferably construction/architectural/property sector
- excellent communication skills
- strong IT skills on programmes including Excel, Word, Outlook and CRM systems
- confident both on the phone and in person
- honest and reliable. We believe in the mantra ‘if you don’t know, ask’ – and expect team members to be honest if they don’t know the answer to a particular question
