Social media guru
Vitsoe is looking for a social media guru to join its team in Leamington Spa, UK.
Since 1959 Vitsœ has created and evolved furniture that allows its customers to live better, with less, that lasts longer. Today Vitsœ is renowned for its single-minded commitment to responsible design as well as its continuous production of Dieter Rams’s furniture.
Job purpose:
To publish Vitsœ’s messages natively across all platforms and engage with Vitsœ’s
worldwide audiences to create and nurture ambassadors.
Key areas of responsibility:
– working with the editor to develop and own a schedule of communications
across all platforms
– monitoring and uploading content to all Vitsœ’s channels
– developing strategies with the social media team to create engaging posts
– managing a daily and weekly content calendar to be approved by key colleagues
– creating and sourcing visual content photo, video, GIF, seeking guidance
when needed
– reporting on successes and lessons learned across platforms each month
The role requires:
– a close liaison with Vitsœ’s editor, directors and technology team
– a belief in outstanding customer service
– a strong sense of guardianship and the maintenance of high standards
– lateral thinking to seek out and maximise opportunities, infusing content with
Vitsœ’s values
– fire in the belly
The person will be:
– careful and diligent – even meticulous – with a good dose of common sense
– demanding of high standards and at ease with demanding people
– efficient, effective and organised, in both the physical and digital worlds
– modestly confident and also personable, good humoured and trustworthy
– at home in the worlds of art, architecture, craft and design
