Markwick Architects is looking for an enthusiastic Part 2 architectural assistant or newly qualified architect to join its team in Croydon, UK.

The company has an expanding workload in the retail, residential and industrial sectors and is currently working on buildings at RIBA Stages 0 to 5 through to completion.

We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:

• RIBA Part 2 qualification with (where applicable) ambition to achieve RIBA Part 3
• excellent AutoCAD 2D drawing skills
• excellent SketchUp capabilities
• strong presentation skills
• strong design capabilities
• ideally at least two years’ experience within the UK construction sector
• knowledge of UK planning procedures, Building Regulations and construction methods
• experience in the preparation of tender and construction information
• an eagerness to contribute and learn through experience
• assisting the team with a variety of tasks

This position will suit a dynamic candidate who is looking to expand their career through practical design and construction experience
