Role overview

The head of digital platforms has the responsibility for the overall development, management and maintenance of the school’s website and internal digital administration systems including the intranet and the student information system (SIS) as well as maintaining digital protection whilst adhering to higher education regulations.

The appointed candidate will report directly to the chief technology officer at the school and is tasked with organising and developing important school means of digital communications such as the main AA website, internal booking systems and the intranet, the student and staff database and the SIS. The role is key in the delivering of day-to-day digital projects at the school and to maintain that all systems are up to date and functioning properly and efficiently on a regular basis.

The role will work closely with the IT department, communications studio, the registrar’s office, admissions, membership, public programmes, the bookshop and our collections team to ensure that all departments are technically and digitally supported to carry out their required short-term tasks and longer-term projects and to communicate them online to our many audiences around the world.

Applicants will be expected to currently work from home, with a view of returning back to office based work once the School has confirmed the new working arrangements.
