Mid-weight interior designer
at Ilinka Design Studio
Ilinka Design Studio is looking for a mid-weight designer to join its team in London.
They are looking for a talented designer with three to five years’ experience to work on exciting high-end interior design projects in both residential and contract sectors, in the UK and abroad.
Main duties will involve:
- produce design concepts, proposals, mood boards and estimates when required and follow through the design process
- source FF&E and prepare relevant presentations and full packages, material boards, scheduling
- day to day project management- design development, specifications of projects, design budgets, sourcing
- ownership of orders, follow up on quotations
- manage changes and revisions to project, adhering to project contracts, schedules, and budget
- attend/conduct site meetings to oversee the construction process when required
- liasing with external parties; suppliers, contractors, consultants
Skills required:
- degree qualified in interior design, or similar
- a minimum of three years’ experience working on residential projects
- experience in Estimac software, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is essential
- excellent communication; fluent in English, both written and verbal
- French-speaking preferred, but not essential
- provide excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- knowledge of FF&E suppliers and consultants essential
- have a positive attitude and a team player contributing to a positive working environment
