Deborah Berke Partners is seeking a BIM manager to join its team in New York.

Deborah Berke Partners is an architecture and interior design practice that for over thirty years has made true-to-place projects around the country and the world. Over time, we have built a wide range of experience in projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, private residences, boutique hotels, office and multifamily developments, and buildings for mission-driven clients. The firm provides a full range of services, from master planning to architecture and interior design.

We are seeking a BIM manager with extensive experience implementing Revit on a range of project types and scales to facilitate our diverse practice.

Your role

Lead and facilitate use of digital design tools and Revit office-wide with a focus on project delivery.  You will initially work independently and in teams to establish and implement best practices, methodology, training, and create a long-term vision for use of digital design within the office.

Requirements:

  • 8 to 13 years’ of experience working in building information modeling environments to lead, advance and optimize office wide Revit standards
  • professional degree in architecture with licensure preferred
  • close familiarity with architectural standards, architectural documentation, and project development at all design phases
  • demonstrated substantial Revit expertise, exceptional communication and collaboration skills, and an ability to provide formal and informal training
  • specialized knowledge of 3D software tools
  • creative excellence in Revit, Rhino, and interfacing between the two.
  • excellent graphic, communication and organizational skills
  • good interpersonal skills and a willingness to collaborate with and support your design team
  • pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
  • possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the US
  • fluency in written and spoken English
