Senior interior designer
at Design Haus Liberty

Design Haus Liberty is seeking a senior interior designer/architect, preferably with hospitality or VIP club lounge experience, to join its team in London.

Start date: January 2022

Design Haus Liberty is a vibrant and dynamic architecture and interiors practice based in central London with projects across the globe and a growing presence in Asia. Renowned for its high-end residential, office, and developer-led schemes in both the UK and internationally, the practice prides itself with unique and beautifully crafted projects that achieve strong, cohesive and interesting interdisciplinary propositions. We are always innovating and operating in a highly entrepreneurial, fast paced environment. We’re looking for someone special to join our tight knit team and hit the ground running.

We are looking to add to our team with a strong well experienced interior designer to initially focus on an exciting VIP amenities club lounge in China.

You will report to the director and form design concepts in both 3D and 2D drawings, as well as assist in creating mood boards, researching materials and executing design details for construction.

It is a role offering an all-rounded experience including concept design, detailed design, tender drawings and construction. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working to tight timelines in a fast paced environment.

The successful candidate will have:

  • a minimum of three to five years of experience as a senior interior designer, experienced in Stage 2 to 5
  • strong design sense to form mood boards/conceptual ideas
  • resourceful in material sourcing and selection
  • formatting well curated presentation
  • ability to direct CGI or concept drawings production
  • comfortable with curved geometry
  • fluent in using Rhino, AutoCAD and the Adobe Suite programs
  • ability to complete detailed design drawing set
  • ability to shadow junior designers
  • proven ability in working independently to deadlines and project deliverables
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely or in the office
  • strong creativity and ability to take on and adapt to our design ethos
  • fluency in Chinese will be a bonus

  • applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • applicants must be willing to travel to and be able to work from our London W8 studio. We are exploring hybrid working and rethinking the purpose of our studio but we do not intend being a fully remote business, nor will this role holder have the potential to work remotely abroad for long periods
