Moooi is hiring a retail and interior designer to join its team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Within Moooi we are looking for a passionate retail and interior designer with experience in designing retail spaces and brand experiences. It is a temporary position from January 2022 until June 2022.
You are an interior designer with a conceptual approach to styling, colour and material. And you are responsible for the design and execution of all retail/interior projects.
Your tasks and responsibilities
As our interior designer you:
- create interior designs for our key platforms (showrooms, brand stores, – exhibitions, dealer showroom) in collaboration with the Creations team
- prepare detailed (technical) drawings, designs, plans and schemes
- coordinate and execute these projects
- manage and safeguard planning and budget per project in order to achieve deadlines
- manage the retail design requests
- research, to make sure that plans are technically feasible
Place in organisation
For this job you will be working from Amsterdam and you will be part of the Brand Identity team. Initially the brand identity manager will be your supervisor and you will be working closely with the art director.
Who are you?
A dedicated team player with positive energy who loves design and high-end interiors! A qualified interior designer with talent for spatial perception and project management. Experienced in retail and customer experience design. You are able to translate a briefing into a strong concept and proficient in making technical drawings. You are familiar with all the stages of the project and have the drive to carry out the complete process, distinguish essentials of side issues while maintaining the total overview.
Some more practical skills which are important to us:
- a completed bachelor degree in Interior design or comparable
- three plus years’ experience in high-end retail interior designs
- experience with Vectorworks, Adobe CS and Office 365
- you can fluently communicate in English and preferable you have a proficiency in Dutch
- you are living in or nearby Amsterdam and you have an European working Visa
