Wright & Wright Architects is hiring an architect to join its team in London.
We are seeking a talented architect to work on cultural and educational buildings, who can join our office in January 2022.
The office is currently working on projects for the British Museum, St John’s College, St Edmund Hall and Oriel College Oxford, British Academy, Lambeth Palace and Pallant House Gallery.
We are looking for someone with experience and commitment to quality of design and detailing but the most important factor is that they fit with our office ethos. The practice is a friendly, cooperative environment and we do not work long hours generally. We have a profit share scheme and pre-Covid provided office lunches, which we hope to reinstate in the New Year.
The successful candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and empathy with our design approach. They will be able to work as part of a team but also with self-direction and initiative, displaying a strong commitment to the job and a willingness to go the extra mile when necessary.
The following attributes are required:
- exceptional technical experience and CAD skills
- excellent communicator and ability to work within a team
- talented designer
- good knowledge of construction and detailing
The following attributes are of interest:
- experience in Revit
- knowledge of student housing design
