Arup is hiring a senior architect to join its team in London.

Arup Architecture designs buildings that are simple, purposeful efficient and beautiful, that are technologically advanced and sensitive to environmental and human needs in line with Ove Arup’s vision for ‘Total Architecture’. We have successfully delivered the new Cityringen metro lines in Copenhagen as well, the soon to be completed Luton Dart. Last year the quality of work completed by Arup Architecture was recognised by BD as Infrastructure Architect of the Year.
The role will include working on a number of very prominent and exciting Transport projects at different stages works stages from concept design to detailed delivery.
Our projects include major infrastructure buildings in London for HS2, and the new HS2 Interchange Station in West Midlands, recognised as the most sustainable rail station in the world. We also offer the opportunity to work on metro projects in Canada and Hong Kong.
Suitable candidates do not need experience of working on transport or infrastructure projects, however, an interest in working in the field would be welcome. We are looking for candidates with strong analytical, technical, and software skills. But above all, we are looking for creative flair and enthusiasm for learning new skills. Our team structure is supportive, encourages personal growth and offers the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary environment with world class engineers.
Base requirements:
- Part 3 or similar qualification in Architecture and experience post part 2
- strong knowledge of relevant CADD software applications such as AutoCAD, Microstation or Revit and 3D visualisation software such as Rhino, and Sketchup, Photoshop etc.
- proficiency in both written and spoken English
