Gillespies is seeking landscape architects to join its team in London or Oxford.

We have offices throughout the UK and an exciting national and international portfolio of projects.

We are looking for highly skilled associates and senior landscape architects as well as Part 4 qualified architects to work on one of the world’s most significant Central Park projects located in the Middle East. The project will be run from our UK offices; we are flexible on the locations; either London or Oxford.

You should demonstrate strong skills in design and technical design packages, cross-disciplinary coordination, team leadership skills and have a foundation in Revit. A knowledge of working within a BIM environment would be a benefit. Middle Eastern experience is preferred although not a pre-requisite.

All candidates must be available to start in February to March 2022.

Essential requirements:

  • a strong portfolio showing a wide selection of work, with a proven track record of delivering technical packages (RIBA 3 onward)
  • Middle Eastern, international and UK experience
  • proficiency in AutoCAD with a foundation in Revit and BIM
  • proficient in the Adobe Suite and SketchUp
  • strong design and technical skill
  • excellent ability to develop, draw and communicate design ideas developed from established concept proposals
  • exceptional communication skills. Excellent spoken and written English
  • ability to lead complex packages
  • ability to lead and mentor junior members of staff
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • applicants should be motivated individuals with a positive attitude and demonstrate all-round design and technical skills

Successful candidates will ideally be CMLI, although it is not essential (an equivalent overseas qualification would suffice), and have a strong interest and proven skills in landscape design and project management of landscape projects in the UK and/or internationally.
