French speaking architect/interior architect

Cutwork is hiring a freelance French-speaking architect or interior architect for shared living projects to join its team in Paris.
We are seeking talented freelance architects and interior architect with experience in all phases from concept definition to technical design/construction. We are looking for passionate designers to help us rethink and design spaces to better support modern usages, lifestyles and communities through innovative architectural and/or interior concepts.
About us
Cutwork is an architecture and design studio focused on new ways to live and work. We design architectural concepts, interior concepts, and furniture that can respond to evolving societal needs. Working with pioneering international clients and drawing on our expertise in shared living environments like coliving, artist residencies, and non-traditional family housing, we design smart, multi-use spaces and furniture for new ways of living and working.
Main responsibilities:
- elaborate and communicate architectural and interior design concepts and designs
- design and produce creative concepts, material/mood boards, architectural drawings, FF&E lists, client presentations, renders, etc.
- contribute to work on project and design constraints, objectives, composition, materials and color, spatial quality, detailing
- work in close collaboration and maintain clear communication with other members of the Cutwork project team as well as external consultants
- maintain and organise your work, keep your files up-to-date to facilitate collaboration and communication, and respect Cutwork’s design guidelines
Requirements:
- fluency in French, both written and spoken
- excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- knowledge of the French architectural building regulations
- master’s degree in architecture, interior design or relevant field
- minimum two years of experience in architecture and/or interior design field for junior
- minimum five years of experience in architecture and/or interior design field for senior
- experience in all phases from preliminary design to technical/construction phases
- experience in coworking, coliving, office and/or hospitality projects is preferred
- proficiency in Archicad, SketchUp, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
- independent, hard-working, proactive, hungry to grow and inspire positive change
- ability to think outside the box and to express a strong design point of view
- strong organizational and communication skills and ability to work flexibly and independently in a demanding environment
Bonus points:
- experience with rendering software (3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape)
Location: Paris, France.
Start date: ASAP.
Remuneration: competitive remuneration based on experience level.
