O’Brien Van der Steen Workshops is seeking an experienced Part 1 or 2 architectural assistant to join its studio in Devon, UK.
We are currently undertaking a number of projects across the South West and further afield at all stages, including work on important historic buildings, new dwellings in sensitive locations and larger scale hospitality work and are looking for a committed and creative person to compliment our team.
We are looking for someone who’s strengths lie in the efficient production of design drawings and key visualisations to a high graphic standard.
Chagford is a small and thriving stannary town in the North East of Dartmoor National Park and our office is located centrally in the town.
We will not accept applications from agencies and salary will be reflective of experience.
Requirements:
- experience in a similar or related role – desirable
- proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Google Professional and Autodesk AutoCAD – essential
- proficient in the use of Rhinoceros or equivalent 3D software – essential
- proficient in physical model making – essential
- proficient in design through drawing and sketching – desirable
