MH Holdings Corporation is hiring a senior interior designer to join its team in London.
MH Corporation based in the heart of Borough Market are seeking an experienced senior interior designer.
MH is a boutique developer working within the high end residential sector. We are currently seeking a hands-on, enthusiastic and creative senior designer with five plus years’ experience to join our construction team. This role will require someone who is creative as well as being hands-on and hard working and has a passion for interiors, new build and renovations in and around Central London. The ideal candidate would also be looking to develop their career with us long term and be solely in-charge of all design working with the CEO Mark Harris.
Key responsibilities:
- produce design concepts, proposals, mood boards and estimates and follow through the design process to fruition
- produce general space planning, interiors elevations’ orders, follow up on quotations, buying
- source FF&E and prepare relevant presentations and full packages; material boards, scheduling
- attend and conduct site meetings to oversee the construction process when required
- update and issue specification changes to both the client and contractor
- prepare information in response to contractor/client or supplier requests and ensure everything is documented and put into motion
- liaising with external parties; suppliers, contractors, consultants
- to lead and direct the installation team on site when required
- full management of client handover and snagging
- represent and enhance the reputation of our brand by providing excellent customer service
- previous interior design/renovations experience is essential and preferably with experience working alongside a development company
- strong project management skills.
- have a keen eye for detail and thorough way of working; diligent and organised, always bringing inspirations to the table
- strong professional communication skills in English; written and verbal
- able to work under pressure and meet deadline efficiently
- good knowledge of procuring hard finishes, fixtures and FF&E
- confidence in liaising with contractors
- to be proficient at CAD, Photoshop, Indesign, Excel and knowledge of Estimac preferable
- very competent administration and organisational skills
- commercial awareness in terms of pricing structure and budgetary control
- good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective in house team
Salary is open to experience and to be focused on an individual basis.
