&Tradition is hiring a spatial designer to join its team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We are looking for an interior designer that can translate &Tradition’s core values into interiors, creating a strong spatial identity for the brand. Someone with an eye for detail and visual merchandising skills that can develop outstanding shop-in-shop concepts combined with strong product storytelling.

Role summary

This spatial designer role focuses on retail and visual merchandising, designing and developing &Tradition’s identity into retail concepts, working closely with our dealers and clients. You will be responsible for the representation of new product launches as well as our existing collection in retail spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • design and develop the shop-in-shop concept, working closely with external designers
  • implementation of shop-in-shop concept in retail stores
  • working closely with Sales on translating their needs into the various retail spaces, as well as the rest of the spatial team to ensure a strong and coherent brand representation
  • working closely with the brand team on the storytelling for retail
  • presentation of limited/anniversary editions in retail concepts
  • implementation of new products and sales campaigns in shops
  • producing technical drawings regarding shop-in-shop and retail store designs
  • design and execution of bespoke solutions regarding product displays
  • visiting clients/dealers to be able to translate the market’s needs into our retail concept
  • styling/visual merchandising of our products
  • assisting with the interior design for dealers/clients
  • creating retail project presentations
  • keeping material, textile and finishes knowledge up to date
  • production of 2D and 3D drawings

Experience and knowledge:

  • bachelor in interior design or relevant experience
  • minimum five years’ of experience
  • proficient in design software such as Rhino, Keyshot and Adobe Suite
  • excellent knowledge of materials
  • good project management and communication skills
  • eye for detail, shape and colour and passion for design
  • knowledge of design trends and competition offerings
  • good hand-sketching skills
