Middleweight hospitality interior designer

MKV Design is hiring a middleweight hospitality interior designer to join its team in London.
MKV Design is an award-winning hospitality specialist interior design company based in London, working on international projects, and we are looking for a full-time middle weight technical biased interior designer to join the team.
The candidate should have five plus’ years experience in the production of detailed drawing packages for hotel projects. Experience of working on-site and with consultants is required, as is a good knowledge of building regulations. You would be working alongside senior interior designers in the production of full package information.
A high level of technical knowledge is essential for this role as is good organisational skills. You should be able to take the design concept and run with the production of detailed information for construction to implementation.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential for this role, as is self-motivation and flexibility, and the willingness to pitch in when needed. Some knowledge of InDesign and photoshop would be an advantage but is not essential.
Travel will be required to see the completion of projects.
Flexible working from our central London office and at home is available. We are a close group of designers that work collaboratively to create the design and solve problems as a team, producing award-winning work.
Candidates should have the following:
- minimum of five years experience on 5-star hotel projects and high end residential
- an interior design degree or similar construction qualifications
- excellent organisational and communication skills
- high technical knowledge of construction and materials
- team player
- must be willing to travel to sites abroad
