Studio assistant

Rachel Carmody Design is looking for a studio assistant to support its growing studio in Dublin.
This is a central role managing the core functions of the studio, ensuring administrative processes and day-to-day activities run smoothly. We are looking for a bright, ambitious, communicative person with a positive attitude, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills. The position encompasses a variety of responsibilities with the possibility to grow and develop.
Key responsibilities:
- managing the overall studio activities and resourcing
- answering and responding to inbound enquiries
- providing the team with administrative support, filing and studio database
- assist with sales and new leads
- answering phone and transferring calls
- distributing incoming mail/parcels as well as arranging outbound post, packages and couriers
To be considered, candidates must have:
- a genuine interest in architecture and interiors
- strong organisational and numerical skills
- confidence in talking to new customers and clients on the phone
- ability to work independently and use initiative, multi-task and prioritise
- ability to be proactive and adaptable with the aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment
- experience in Microsoft tools such as Word and Excel
- experience with Adobe InDesign (preferred)
- positive, enthusiastic attitude towards the promotion of the company
