Deborah Berke Partners is looking for a BIM coordinator to join its team in New York.
Deborah Berke Partners is an architecture and interior design practice that for over thirty years has made true-to-place projects around the country and the world. Over time, we have built a wide range of experience in projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, private residences, boutique hotels, office and multifamily developments, and buildings for mission-driven clients. The firm provides a full range of services, from master planning to architecture and interior design.
Deborah Berke Partners is seeking a native Revit user with an interest in training to be the firm’s future BIM manager.
Your role
Facilitate use of digital design tools and Revit office-wide with a focus on project delivery. You will initially be supported by a small team establishing BIM standards and implementing best practices in QA/QC while working on multiple projects. Your role will evolve to independently manage BIM practices, methodology, and training across projects, and create a long-term vision for use of digital design within the office.
Requirements:
- six to ten years’ of experience, must include BIM projects during CD and CA phases
- experience working in BIM environments to establish and/or optimize Revit workflows and standards at an office-wide scale is preferred
- professional degree in architecture
- close familiarity with architectural standards, architectural documentation, and project development at all design phases
- demonstrated Revit expertise, good interpersonal and collaboration skills, and a willingness and interest in supporting design teams through training
- specialized knowledge of 3D software tools
- creative excellence in Revit, Rhino, and interfacing between the two
- excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills
- pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
- possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
- fluency in written and spoken English
