Brinkworth is seeking an associate design director or experienced senior interior designer to join its team in London.

Brinkworth is a global design company creating spaces that build strong connections between people and brands. Established in 1990, the company’s experience has resulted in a highly creative international portfolio, predominantly within the retail and hospitality sectors.

We are looking for an associate design director or an experienced senior interior designer ready to progress to associate level, with a proven track record within the retail design sector to join our team.

Experience and skills required:

• proven experience of taking the creative lead and managing multiple projects and clients within an established interior design studio
• professional experience in all stages of the design process from concept to on-site implementation across a range of project scales and types
• a relevant and creative design language that can be conveyed through visualisation and drawing skills, both computer aided and freehand
• the ability to combine the creative and operational aspects of design projects, and to encourage and manage a project team
• excellent communication skills and client presentation experience
• strong interpersonal skills, creating effective working relationships internally and externally
• experience overseeing week-to-week operations, including project planning and reporting, and attending management and business shaping meetings
• with support from the management team you will produce cost estimates and programmes, time manage project milestones and deliverables, and report to the financial team on project status for billing purposes
• high level of proficiency in VectorWorks and InDesign are essential

All candidates should be fluent in English.

Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
