Founded in 2017 by Emma Smith, Pedersen Smith Architects has grown to be a forward thinking, modern architectural practice which operates fully remotely, embraces time saving technology, social media and strives to provide it’s team with a better work life balance compared to many traditional Architecture jobs.
Over the last five years, we have built a reputation for designing homes that people love to live in and that also maximise the potential of the property for both homeowner and design led property investor clients across the UK.
The role
Working at Pedersen Smith Architects, you would have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects from homeowner projects to listed buildings, commercial to residential developments and high quality co-living hmos from the comfort of your own home.
Due to the remote nature of our company, this allows us to work on projects right across the UK focusing our services on feasibility studies, planning applications and tender drawings. We do not offer our clients a full traditional architecture service.
Ideal candidate will:
- be a proactive and driven self starter who enjoys working from home
- have good time management skills and want flexible hours to get a better work life balance
- have a passion for residential projects
- have a customer focussed approach
Requirements:
- an experienced Part 2/architect with at least three years’ experience
- UK residential experience is essential
- you must consider yourself to have a strong design ability and good eye for maximising the potential of a property
- experience of working in a small team, liaising with clients & planning officers
- a thorough understanding of planning & experience in submitting planning applications
- proficient in Vectorworks
