Todhunter Earle is seeking a mid-weight interior designer to join its team in London.

We are looking for a mid-weight interior designer with an architectural leaning, eye for detail and strong CAD skills to join our renowned creative team.

The successful candidate will be working on very high-end residential projects in the UK and internationally. They should be confident in the full design process, although this role has the opportunity to be more AutoCAD based. Candidates should have at least three years’ of experience.

The job responsibilities will include:

  • drawing furniture layouts and elevations in AutoCAD using our templates
  • producing detailed elevations and joinery drawings
  • co-ordination with multi-consultant teams; liaising with architects, sub-contractors and clients
  • preparing detailed specification schedules to include finishes, sanitaryware, decorative lighting, ironmongery etc.
  • create and manage design presentations and mood boards to consistently high standards
  • responsible for checking all detailed drawings and production information, including signing off all technical shop drawings and bespoke joinery details
  • lead site meetings and quality control visits, skilfully resolving technical issues in line with the project’s design brief
  • ability to work on simultaneous projects, working to detailed programs set out by the architect/project manager
  • compiling comprehensive client estimates on EstiPC
  • sourcing fabric samples, furniture, art and decorative items
  • procurement of all FF&E orders, signing off and processing invoices
  • we are looking for a candidate with experience working from concept design to on-site installation. You will need to have a good understanding of colours, textures and materials as well as budgets. Experience working with
  • AutoCAD and Estimac are key as well as organisational skills to manager suppliers and work to tight deadlines. A good knowledge of sanitaryware products, FF&E designs and specifications alongside experience in sourcing and procuring are essential
