Stanton Williams is looking to appoint an experienced head of communications to join its team in London.
This is a new and strategic role to lead a fully integrated communications department encompassing marketing, external relations and new business functions; positioning and promoting Stanton Williams as a leading international practice in order to drive new business and develop opportunities. Areas of responsibility will cover all aspects of a holistic marketing and communications remit including strategy, external relations and CRM, press, awards, internal communications, website and social media. The head of communications will report directly to the Stanton Williams leadership team and bring a robust strategic approach, cohesion and consistency to all communication and business development activities, responsible for directing and overseeing the work of the comms team and developing a holistic communications strategy which will enhance the practice’s profile and reputation and achieve its business development objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a least ten years’ experience of strategic communications, marketing and new business in an architecture practice or other relevant environment and detailed knowledge of these functions within the industry. They should be able to demonstrate the ability to advise and strategically direct activity with confidence and authority, have excellent verbal and written communications skills. They will be enthusiastic, motivated and committed and be able to work collaboratively to build and develop an effective communications team.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign essential.
