UnionWorks is hiring a senior designer to join its team in New York.
UnionWorks is a multidisciplinary interior and architectural design studio. We are hiring a senior designer for residential interiors to join our growing team.
We are seeking candidates with extensive experience producing high quality project design in both FF&E and construction management. The ideal candidate is creative, grounded in technical skills, self-motivated and able to collaboratively lead a small team and liaise with clients and fabricators.
This role requires strength in document production and timeline management. An exceptional eye for detail and possess high quality conceptual design skills supported by excellent project design and management abilities.
Qualified candidates have technical proficiency and competency with project production documents and drawings. As well as excel at visual, written and verbal correspondence.
Requirements:
- proficiency in Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Apple Suite, GoogleWorkspace, Sketch-up (or other 3-D rendering), Adobe Suite, Blue Beam, Harvest, and Evernote, (or equivalent softwares) etc.
- minimum of seven years’ interior design experience
- deep knowledge and understanding of FF&E process from design, sourcing, purchasing, tracking and installation
- exceptional attention to detail, ability to accurately estimate and manage time across multiple projects
