Part 2 architectural assistant
at Minifie Architects
Minifie Architects is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
We are a compact collective of creative people who work on a variety of projects in and around London. Our studio revolves around collaborative working, translating briefs into insightful projects for our clients. Due to an expanding project portfolio, we are seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant to join our team to assist in the design and delivery of a range of commercial projects.
Contract type: six months fixed-term, with the potential to go permanent (three month probationary period)
Hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: based on experience, with reference to the RIBA salary guide
Location: studio based in Old Street, with expectation to be primarily office-based working
Essential requirements
Pease do not apply if you don’t have all of the following:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification
- strong AutoCAD skills
- enthusiasm for collaborative working
- ability to communicate and trial creative ideas
- previous RIBA Stages 3-5 commercial experience, including a good level of technical knowledge around construction detailing and tender documentation
- fluent in written and spoken English
- eligible to live and work in the UK
Helpful/nice to have:
- knowledge, experience, and interest of sustainable building practices
- proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
