Me Architects is seeking a student or junior architect for a paid internship at its studio in Malta.
Me Architects is seeking highly motivated student or junior architect to join its closed-knit international team of architects in Malta for a paid internship.
Me Architects is an architectural office founded by Perit Karl Ebejer in 2013, specialising in design and planning of residential and retail developments. We work across multiple sectors on a variety of exciting projects. Our practice is encouraging creativity and innovation and work in a very friendly and vibrant environment.
You will be working directly with architects/designers to develop, visualise and present new projects. Your work will also involve draughting drawings, modelling and physical model building and seeking for new architectural trends.
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior architect who is passionate about design, have a strong sense of aesthetics and have an excellent attention to detail.
Requirements:
- minimum of third year in architectural studies
- fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills
- proficient in CAD drawings
- 3D modelling with SketchUp or ArchiCAD
- Adobe Indesign and Photoshop
The ideal candidate should:
- be confident, organised and proactive
- have strong communication and design presentation skills
- have knowledge of products and materials
- work effectively by meeting deadlines
- have a strong work ethic
Duties and responsibilities:
- produce detailed design
- model actual or conceptual project
- produce graphic presentations for marketing purposes
- shadowing senior’s architect to produce detailed final package drawings that will accompany bills of quantities
