We are looking for a PR manager to join our marketing team in Copenhagen.

Job description

You will be responsible for creating quality press awareness and generate quality press stories for Kvadrat, Kvadrat Acoustics, Kvadrat Shade, Kvadrat/Raf Simons and Sahco globally.

You will report to the deputy director of communications, and be part of the PR and communications team in the marketing department and work out of our office in Copenhagen. You should expect 50 – 70 travel days per year.

Responsibilities

In close collaboration with the head of communication and PR you will develop and coordinate the global press strategy for all our brands in coordination with our PR agency network and internal regional responsibilities.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • manage our seven global PR agencies, implementing and developing PR strategy and making sure KPIs are met
  • organise press events and press trips, interviews with key spokespeople in Kvadrat and our designers
  • collaborate with the wider marketing team and stakeholders on key events and projects, ensuring PR is strategically implemented throughout
  • work alongside the social media coordinator, marketing coordinators, segment marketing managers/coordinators on a consistent content strategy, with assets shared that can be pushed on online and digital media outlets
  • devise and collaborate on communication and PR campaigns with selected industry partners, art institutions and other external collaborators
  • help identify the right influencers to collaborate with and create meaningful content in line with the overall communication and content marketing strategy
  • managing the PR budget alongside with the deputy director communication

Qualifications:

  • master degree in marketing and/or communications
  • minimum six years of current experience from a similar job in a related field
  • strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality, highly motivated, organised, and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects and meet tight deadlines
  • English is our corporate language and we expect you to be able to communicate fluently in both oral and written English
  • a strong press and media network
  • ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  • experience in working cross regional and globally with a diverse, multi-cultural team
