Presentation
Franklin Azzi and his practice, founded in 2006, develop a transversal approach stimulated by the intertwining of different views and disciplines. In constantly working on architecture, interior architecture, design and contemporary art, he develops a way of designing and building that is applicable to all scales and typologies of space. From urban micro-architecture such as embodied by the Eiffel Kiosque and its prefabricated structure, to towers in Dubai and Paris, via conversions of existing buildings such as the Alstom market buildings in Nantes, his interventions are based on a quest for sustainability to meet the needs of all users. Far from any formal style, Franklin Azzi develops architecture that is minimalist in its aesthetic, maximalist in its multi-fold functionality and environmental quality, taking a stand for the return of ‘common sense’.
Franklin Azzi places his commitment as designer–builder at every level of creation, from large scale to the smallest detail of fabrication, whether for public or private commission, in France or elsewhere. In doing so, he breathes new life into built heritage, inventing living and workspaces for tomorrow (The Bureau, Be In for LVMH), rethinks urban development with respect for what is already there (Beaupassage for Emerige) and develops demountable and mobile structures (the rooftop pavilion on Galeries Lafayette). Places that outline a new horizon of possibilities, in an approach that is sustainable and contemporary, to the benefit of the end users.
Main missions
Franklin Azzi Architecture is looking for an experienced architect/project manager to join a project team in the study phase. The agency of 75 people, based in the second arrondissement, is looking for an architect capable of working on rehabilitation programmes of high-rise buildings and tower.
Responsibilities:
- you will be the main contact for the client, the design offices and the administrations concerned by the project
- you will manage the interface with the various players independently by participating in all meetings
- you will be accompanied by a project manager or an associate of the agency
- you will be supported by assistant architects in their active participation in the production of graphic documents
- you will be the guarantor of the architectural proposal driven by the management and will ensure compliance with the programme, standards and regulations in force (fire, PMR, etc.)
- you will be responsible for the progress of the projects with a view to achieving rigorous, high-quality architecture, both in terms of writing and technical aspects
The 3D images are produced by the agency’s computer graphics department.
Profile required
Ability to listen and share, teamwork skills
Mastery of software: AutoCAD, REVIT (option), Adobe Suite, SketchUp.

PRÉSENTATION
Franklin Azzi développe, au sein de son agence parisienne créée en 2006, une approche transversale nourrie de l’entrecroisement des regards et des disciplines. En faisant constamment dialoguer l’architecture, l’architecture d’intérieur, le design et l’art contemporain, il élabore un art de concevoir et de construire ouvert à toutes les échelles et les typologies d’espaces. De la microarchitecture urbaine incarnée par le Kiosque Eiffel et sa structure en préfabriqué aux tours à Dubaï et Paris en passant par les réhabilitations de structures existantes comme la Tour Montparnasse avec la Nouvelle AOM ou les halles Alstom à Nantes, ses interventions s’inscrivent dans une recherche de durabilité en réponse aux besoins de tous les usagers. Loin de toute écriture formelle, Franklin Azzi développe une architecture minimale dans son esthétique, maximale dans son fonctionnalisme décuplé et sa qualité environnementale revendiquant un postulat du retour au « bon sens ».
Franklin Azzi place son engagement de concepteur-bâtisseur à tous les niveaux de création, de la grande échelle au plus petit détail de fabrication, qu’il s’agisse de commandes publiques ou privées, en France ou à l’international. Ce faisant, il redonne souffle au patrimoine bâti, invente les espaces de vie et de travail de demain (The Bureau, Be In pour LVMH), repense l’aménagement urbain dans le respect de l’existant (Beaupassage pour Emerige) et met au point des structures démontables et amovibles (le pavillon sur le toit des Galeries Lafayette). PRINCIPALES MISSIONS
L’agence de 75 personnes, basée dans le 2ème arrondissement, recherche un(e) architecte capable d’intervenir sur des programmes de type IGH en réhabilitation.
> Vous serez l’interlocuteur principal du maître d’ouvrage, des bureaux d’études et des administrations concernées par le projet.
> Vous gérerez de manière autonome l’interface avec les différents acteurs par leur participation à toutes les réunions.
> Vous serez accompagné d’un directeur de projets ou d’un associé(e) de l’agence.
> Vous serez soutenu par des architectes assistants dans leur participation active à la production des pièces graphiques.
> Vous serez garant du propos architectural impulsé par la direction et veillerez au respect du programme, des normes et règlementations en vigueur (incendie, PMR…).
> Vous mènerez l’avancement des projets dans le souci d’une architecture rigoureuse et de qualité, tant au niveau de l’écriture que sur le plan technique.

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
Expérience : minima 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle
Capacité d’écoute et de partage, aptitude au travail d’équipe
Maîtrise des logiciels : AUTOCAD, SUITE ADOBE, SKETCHUP, REVIT (option)
