The Townscape Consultancy is seeking a consultant/senior consultant to join its team in London.
We are looking for someone to join our team in London as a townscape and heritage consultant or senior consultant. We operate in the field between architecture, urban design and planning.
While we are ideally looking for someone with previous experience (a minimum of two to three years’ or over) as a townscape and/or heritage consultant, we are also open to exceptional applicants from related built environment fields and we would provide in-house mentoring / coaching in the specific requirements of our work. If coming from a related field, you are likely to have between five and 15 years’ experience in a built environment field. Strong analytical ability and a high standard of written English are essential. The work will involve site visits and meetings, generally in London, but with the possibility of involvement in projects outside London.

The post is full time and permanent, though we would consider applicants wishing to apply on a part-time basis. Our offices are at 100 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5NQ and we have a hybrid work mode including some ability to also work from home.
