The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking a B-made administrator to join its team in London.
The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6.

The Bartlett School of Architecture is one of the world’s most exciting architecture schools, set within UCL’s Faculty of The Built Environment. Our staff are at the forefront of international research and teaching, encompassing individual excellence, interdisciplinary collaborations, and pioneering methodologies. This role will join the team of The Bartlett Manufacturing and Design Exchange (B-made) which operates across two sites, with manufacturing centres in the Bartlett School of Architecture’s Bloomsbury site and in UCL’s newly developed Here East site supporting the University’s vanguard move to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, (QEOP) Stratford.
The post holder will work in a number of different capacities and this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn a variety of skills and enjoys a dynamic work environment. The B-made administrator will work both independently and in coordination with B-made’s director, providing administrative support for B-made’s activities. The post holder will effectively manage expenditure, streamlining procurement procedures, and resolving discrepancies. They will become fully versed in UCL
policies and procedures and will assist the B-made team in adhering to these as they relate to finance, ordering goods and services as well as maintaining sound financial systems. They will also support the B-made director with communications, scheduling, managing meetings and other team projects.
This post will be based at B-made’s UCL at Here East location but will liaise and work interchangeably with B-made staff at Here East and 22 Gordon Street as required. There will therefore be a requirement for the post holder to be able to periodically travel to and from both sites as needed.
We are seeking candidates who are qualified to GCSE and A-Level standard or who possess equivalent experience and demonstrate the ability and willingness to operate in a solution-centric manner. The successful candidate with have strong administration and organisation skills, will be able to self-initiate workloads and communicate effectively across a wide variety of stakeholders.
