Whitespace Architects BV is hiring a 3D visualizer to join its team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

This is a full time, permanent role that would suit a skilled visualizer who is passionate about architecture and who shares the creative ambitions of our practice.

Responsibilities:

• create digital images in 2D and 3D
• to be responsible for post-production of digital images to enhance and colour grade
• create matte painting backgrounds for animation and films

Skills and qualities required:

• able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
• comprehensive knowledge of 3D software – 3DS Max, SketchUp, Rhino
• knowledge of rendering engines – V-Ray and/or Corona Renderer
• good knowledge of post-production software – Photoshop, After Effects
• able to complete projects independently
• able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
• good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of an effective team
• excellent communication and organizational skills
• self-motivated and able to take responsibility and work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• resilient to coping with conflicting demands
• able to demonstrate strong visual skills, with attention to detail, composition, light, colour and form
