Job description
Sir Peter Cook needs a personal studio assistant in the London office of his new company ‘CHAP’ (Cook Haffner Architecture Platform). To be involved in a variety of support tasks covering projects, exhibition curation, research and model-making. Also from time-to-time assisting project architects.
About us
We have three offices – in London, Belgrade and Oslo – with projects in Europe, Brazil, the Middle East and Asia. The studio has three directors: Sir Peter Cook, Erlend Blakstad Haffner and Branko Belaćević.
About Sir Peter Cook
Founder member of ‘Archigram’ Group that was awarded the Royal Gold Medal in 1972, former Chair of the Bartlett School of Architecture. Still fully involved in project design, exhibitions, writings and strategies.
Personal studio assistant tasks and skills:
- exercising a cheerful personality
- providing administrative support to Sir Peter Cook
- assists in organisation and distribution of drawings
- assists with exhibition preparation and curation
- assists in preparing/ maintaining content for websites and social media
- supporting senior staff in architectural projects
- able to manage the every day administrational functioning of the London studio
- highly-organised and strong attention to detail
- expert in Microsoft Office (outlook/word/excel)
- experience in the creative industry is required
- skills in Adobe design suite required
- experience in architecture field desirable
