Paper + White is hiring a designer with procurement experience to join its team remotely.
There is an exciting opportunity to work with luxury residential design studio Paper + White (based London and Cambridgeshire with current projects in Oxfordshire, Suffolk, Thailand and the US). We are looking for a mid level designer with experience in procurement to work across all aspects of our business assisting our core design team – creative director, architect, studio creative and draftsperson
This is a freelance position for someone with experience particularly in the high-end residential sector. You must be someone who enjoys organisation and managing complex projects but also has experience and an eye for design. You will be working amongst a collaborative, creative team and will be involved in the full range of our business activities: interior design and project management including project delivery, logistics, sourcing, site visiting, making sure projects are delivered on time.
The role is a mix of working remotely from home, on-site and with the team in London. Able to drive with use of own car is preferable but not essential.
Key responsibilities:
- producing mid level design creative
- producing schedules and programmes
- sourcing and procurement of FF&E
- overseeing deliveries on site
- liaising with team and between team and contractors / third party suppliers inc on site
- producing progress reports
Key skills:
- experience in high-end residential projects
- Vectorworks knowledge preferred
- Adobe and Microsoft suite knowledge
- friendly and collaborative character
