Artichoke is seeking a senior creative designer to join its team in Somerset, UK.
Artichoke was founded on the belief that brilliantly designed interiors and joinery can immeasurably improve a client’s experience of living in a period building. As specialists in interior architecture and joinery design, we use wood to shape the character and function of rooms into distinctive and beautifully liveable spaces.
We are seeking an experienced senior creative designer to join the design team based in Somerset. We welcome applications from designers with a background in interiors and interior architecture for exceptional period properties.
Responsibilities:
- translate the client’s brief and develop outstanding concept designs
- drive design development across multiple projects
- clearly express and communicate design strategy
- visualise ideas through hand and digital media
- lead a team in producing client presentations
Skills:
- background in/passion for historical interior architecture, joinery, and furniture
- project leadership and client relationship building
- excels in hand drawn visualisation
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D modelling
- six years’ plus professional experience and a portfolio of projects worked on at a senior level
