Engineering technician
at Structure Workshop

Structure Workshop is looking for an engineering technician to join its team in London.

This is a permanent position on a competitive salary. Part-time working or contract arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

Software experience:

  • Revit (essential)
  • Vectorworks (advantageous)
  • Rhino 3D (advantageous)

The ideal candidate will be an engineer interested in assuming responsibility for drawing production across the practice. You should have HND/HNC Civil Engineering as a minimum, although candidates with alternative qualifications, or relevant experience will be considered.

Key requirements

Manage the transition of our drawing production across to a 3D Revit environment and support existing 2D drawing production

An ability to work independently. You should be enthusiastic, technically proficient and able to communicate effectively.

An interest in engineering and architecture is essential. Practical and model making skills are also valued.

Core duties:

  • responsibility for all Revit related draughting within the practice
  • responsibility for coordinating and maintaining draughting standards across the practice
  • liaise with architects, consultants and contractors and answer site queries
  • attend site meetings and DTM’s as necessary
