Kvadrat is seeking a visual merchandiser to join its team in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Kvadrat was established in Denmark in 1968 and has deep roots in Scandinavia´s design tradition. We hold a leading position in Europe’s high-quality contemporary textiles market. We supply architects, designers and private consumers across the world with textiles and textile-related products.

Kvadrat X is looking for a visual merchandiser to join the commercial team in Copenhagen.

About the job

The visual merchandiser plays a key role in ensuring a coherent brand experience across all sales channels of Kvadrat. The position is responsible for leading creative development for all visual merchandising and window related concepts across showrooms fairs, retail, wholesale, and parts of eccommerce.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • lead design concepts for all VM and windows based on the commercial calendar
  • manage direct discussions with store managers and other stakeholders across the business
  • set clear and aspirational guidelines for windows and in-store for all showrooms, retail units as well as key partners within wholesale and eccommerce
  • set visual merchandising guidelines for all seasonal showrooms
  • regularly travel and secure an on-brand experience in Kvadrat showrooms
  • build close relationships with marketing and commercial teams to ensure smooth running and execution of all projects
  • review and access budgets with commercial director on a monthly basis to ensure we remain in line with cost projections
  • research new, innovative ideas for a modern in-store experience
  • support with event design layouts
  • be responsible for prop maintenance and inventories

Competencies and qualifications

You have a collaborative work spirit, balancing creativity with commercial awareness. Great eye for detail and are able to work under pressure within budget and short timelines.

Your communication and presentation skills are excellent, and you can visually and graphically present ideas and directions.

As a person you are confident, independent, proactive, and positive forward thinking.

You have a strong awareness of trends and the ability to produce innovative, on brand research.

This job requires a lot of travelling in Europe, USA and Asia.
