at ADP
ADP Architecture is seeking an interior architect to join its team in London.
ADP is looking for an interior architect to join our expanding interior design team and help us design a better future – one where our built environment genuinely serves the needs of the people who live in it. If you’re a highly talented architect with a specialist interest in interiors who’s looking for their next exciting challenge in a progressive and employee-focused practice, this could be the role for you.
With eight studios across the UK, Cyprus and India, and over 50 years’ history, ADP is one of the UK’s top 30 architecture practices. We operate around the principles of sustainability, belonging and engagement, rethinking our environment to create a better future.
This role will be based at our London studio in Waterloo.
ADP has recently engaged a new interior design director and we are expanding our interiors team to support exciting and varied projects in the residential, commercial and education sectors. We’re looking for a creative, passionate and versatile designer who can use initiative and take the lead. Projects will involve collaborating with larger architectural design teams and also working on standalone interior design commissions.
You will be involved in a variety of projects from conception through to completion on site. For this role, you will need to be experienced in producing comprehensive, high quality, drawing packages (including detailed joinery) for all interior design project stages.
ADP is an employee-owned and employee-focused practice. All staff have a say in how the business is run, and everyone benefits from its success. We know that a healthy work/life balance is key and all staff have flexible working hours, the option for hybrid working and the opportunity to take a three-day weekend every fortnight. Other benefits include a bonus scheme, healthcare plan and enhanced maternity and paternity provision. We’re an equal opportunities employer and a gold-standard investor in people – reflecting our belief that it takes a people-centred practice to create people-centred designs. Diversity is at the heart of our success, and we welcome applications from underrepresented groups.
Candidates should be a qualified architect with a specialist interest in interiors. ADP uses Windows PCs and Adobe Creative Suite, Office365, Revit, AutoCad, Enscape and NBS Chorus specification writer as our key software packages. Experience in these is preferable.
