Tom Postma Design is seeking a senior exhibition designer to join its team in Amsterdam.
Tom Postma Design (TPD) is a spatial design studio located in Amsterdam, specialising in art related spaces. Our breadth of work ranges from small scale exhibitions to the entire design of some of the world’s leading art fairs; and from the private homes of art collectors to temporary and permanent museum architecture.

We are looking for a dedicated senior exhibition designer with strong creative talent, a collaborative approach and an affinity for the arts to join our team.
Key responsibilities:
- able to carry out relevant tasks, across all phases of the design process, in both collaborative and autonomous settings
- develop ambitious designs and generate original creative concepts
- successfully manage client and all collaborative relationships, including direct communication and presentations
- plan and manage a variety of projects from start to finish, with both an understanding of the bigger picture and a keen eye for detail
- lead project teams, facilitating a collaborative design process
- work with the creative directors to uphold the company DNA across all projects
Skills and experience:
- masters’ qualification (or equivalent) in interior design, architecture or related field
- at least two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within exhibition design or cultural projects (at least four years’ of experience in a creative studio environment)
- competency in ArchiCAD and Adobe Suite
- demonstrated experience working on projects from concept to completion
- strong English verbal and written communication skills
- eligibility to work in the Netherlands required
