Project architect
Holt Architecture is looking for a project architect to join its team in London.
Over three years we have built up a base of clients with a range of sizes and types of projects including schools, sports facilities, higher education and private residential schemes and we’re currently looking for an architect or experienced Part-II architectural assistant to lead some exciting projects in central London.
The role will demand a flexible approach from a candidate who is comfortable working across all RIBA work stages and who can balance technical understanding with great presentation and communication skills. You will be responsible for projects ranging between £400k – £3M in a small team where the sharing of knowledge and experience is a vital ingredient of our success.
Our practice has a focus on the use of BIM and digital technologies particularly on historic buildings and difficult urban sites and you will have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to the development of our BIM capabilities.
The right candidate will have:
- strong Revit skills – essential
- confidence in visual and verbal communication
- a sound understanding of construction technologies and UK Building Regulations
- experience of NBS specification writing
- contract administration – beneficial
Software that we currently use in the office includes:
- Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD
- Adobe InDesign & Photoshop
- Sketchup with VRay
You should also have excellent organisational skills, with attention to detail and a proactive and positive approach; be self-motivated and a practical and strategic thinker with the ability to work autonomously.
