Part 2 architectural assistant

YARD Architects is looking for a Part 2 assistant to work in its studio in London.
The practice works on private residential projects across London with an emphasis on design, detailing and materiality. We aim to deliver carefully crafted buildings combined with an excellent standard of service for our clients. We have numerous projects at all RIBA stages and are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Part 2 assistant to join our team. The role will provide fantastic opportunity to learn, develop, contribute and assist in gaining the experience needed for Part 3.
Successful applicants will have all of the following skills:
- excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
- demonstration of experience with domestic scale projects in the UK across all stages
- excellent design skills and graphic ability
- strong technical ability and knowledge of the building regulations
- good written and verbal communication skills
- some post Part 2 experience would be an advantage
The role will be full time and predominantly office based in our small studio in Borough Market. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. YARD architects are an equal opportunities employer.
