About us

Sam Forster Associates are an exhibition construction company based in North London. We have a large list of prestigious clients including leading museums and contemporary galleries. We are currently looking for a studio manager to join our team.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, organised and reliable person to join our small collaborative team of creatives. You will provide key logistics, administrative and financial support across the company. You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role, be highly organised and have strong multi-tasking skills. You will be someone who enjoys acting on their own initiative as well as working closely in a team. Prioritising your own workload within a wide range of tasks is a must for the role, as well as having strong people skills. You must be a professional, confident and clear communicator.

Main purposes of job:

  • to meticulously manage the company financial transactions, payroll and general administration
  • to respond efficiently to new client enquiries and distribute and monitor projects accordingly
  • to support the day to day operations of projects
  • to co-ordinate with bookkeeping service
  • to manage company logistics

Financial

  • making payments concisely and on-time
  • format and issue client invoices
  • coding supplier invoices for bookkeeper
  • collate timesheets for payroll

Admin

  • manage all client enquiries
  • assist with Tender bids
  • implement and maintain all physical and digital filing
  • liaise with external suppliers (building management, cleaners, etc.)

Logistics

  • manage transport logistics and associated vehicle administration
  • manage freelance bookings and production calendar in coordination with project managers
  • chair and minute weekly team logistics meetings

Social Media

  • update social media and website
  • image request for website and social media from all gallery builds
