Peter Mikic Studio is hiring a PA to managing director to join its team in London.

Peter Mikic Studio is looking for an experienced PA to support all areas of our dynamic interior design studio. We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a fast-paced creative environment with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.

No day will be the same and the successful candidate will be able to adapt to the changing requirements of the studio. We’re a team of 22 architects/ designers/support staff with spectacular projects across the UK and around the world.

Responsibilities will include:

  • PA to Peter Mikic
  • helping to ensure the smooth day to day running of the studio
  • support all employees with administrative duties where required
  • managing the company’s stock inventory and website
  • coordinating routine maintenance and repair work for the company’s affiliated property portfolio
  • diary management – organising and maintaining Peter’s diary: making appointments both business and personal
  • management of the company’s properties – in the UK, duties including insurance, service charges, utility bills, tenants (where necessary), cleaning and other matters related to the properties
  • travel – arranging and booking travel, transport, visas and accommodation for both business and personal. Crafting travel itineraries
  • organising events, including annual Christmas and summer party and other social events both personal and for the studio
  • managing all PR correspondence, liaising with various journalists and keeping PR spreadsheet up to date
  • managing software licences
  • maintaining and ongoing development of company health and safety policies
  • managing company’s HR processes

Required hard and soft skills:

  • keen interest in architecture and interior design
  • clear and succinct communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who can confidently and sensitively liaise with members of the team, as well as clients, clients’ PA’s, contractors, and architects both in person and over phone/email
  • excellent spelling, grammar, and vocabulary with good command of the English language
  • an eye for detail and an ability to maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure
  • a positive, friendly, and practical approach to day-to-day issues and problem solving
  • able to adapt to change and respond positively to new challenges
  • take initiative, must be able to work with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
  • utmost discretion, essential when assisting with confidential matter
  • excellent working knowledge of MS Office, Google Business Suite

The position will be extremely dynamic working across multiple workstreams. It is therefore essential that the successful candidate is adaptable and has a good understanding of the industry and responsibilities of a leading interior design firm.
