Part 2 architectural assistant/architect

Cassion Castle Architects has an opportunity for a Part 2 architectural assistant/architect to join its team in London.
We are a small award-winning design-led architecture practice in North London. Our work focuses on creating well-crafted spaces with highly considered detail. Recent recipients of the AJ Retrofit of the Year Award, we are interested in the reuse of existing buildings as well as the creation of new ones.
We act as main contractor on some of our projects, which means that this position would suit candidates who want to gain a broader involvement in the building industry. You would not only work in all the usual areas of architectural practice but also gain hands-on experience of the whole construction process.
We currently have a variety of exciting projects including a commercial retrofit project and several new-build bespoke homes.
The position would suit RIBA Part 2 but open to candidates with more experience. Salary will reflect experience level.
Candidates must:
- have previous experience of working in a UK architecture practice
- speak fluent English
- be proficient in Vectorworks, SketchUp and Photoshop
- be skilled at model making
- be self-motivated and passionate about good design
