CAD designer/interior architect

Hugh Leslie is seeking a CAD designer or interior architect to join its team in London.
The applicant should be a mature and confident individual who will work alongside the lead designer preparing plans, electrical layouts, elevations, detailing joinery, bathrooms, kitchens, furniture, etc., preparing planning applications including all necessary drawings and have a general knowledge of building construction, regulations etc. You will be able prepare schedules and specifications of sanitary ware, appliances, window and door schedules, etc.
Knowledge of general building construction, joinery detailing and furniture construction are required alongside knowledge of traditional interior architecture.
Candidates must have at least five years’ industry experience, be well organised and pay thorough attention to detail. You will be skilled and fluent in written and spoken English. You must have previously worked in the UK minimum two years.
You will be required to liaise with clients, contractors, make site visits and be involved in the running of projects. You will work alongside the decoration team and be familiar with all aspects of the projects.
