Architect assistant
at PBARC
PBARC is hiring an architect assistant to remotely join its team in London.
PBARC seeks a design-led architect assistant with Part 1/2 experience.
The role is part-time, working one to two days a week and would suit a student working through their Part 2 studies.
PBARC are a small, residential architecture firm, focusing on independent housing developments within the South East. Check our Instagram to see examples of our current works.
A suitable candidate will be proficient in Sketchup, Enscape (or Lumion), AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Indesign). Sketching ability is a bonus.
You will be working on a number of bespoke housing projects, with a requirement to build detailed SketchUp models from existing surveys to develop designs, which can be used for client presentations, planning packages and social media platforms.
You will be encouraged to be intuitive and present your own design ideas and solutions based around client briefs. We will of course work in tandem throughout and guide you through RIBA stages 1-5.
The role is a remote-based working role on a part-time basis and can be flexible to suit study periods.
Payment terms will be agreed on a daily rate (£80-100 per day – depending on experience/ skill) or on a project basis.
