HollandGreen has an opportunity for a landscape architect to join its team in Oxforshire, UK.
Job purpose
HollandGreen is an award-winning, highly creative, multi-disciplinary practice covering landscape design, architecture and interior design across a variety of UK based projects. We are currently seeking to hire a talented landscape architect to join our growing team offering flexible working allowing you to split your time between our studio in Thame, Oxfordshire (OX9) and working from home.
You will be working across a variety of private client and commercial projects with budgets ranging from £50,000 to £2M+.
We offer a collaborative working environment, allowing you to work with the architectural and interior design teams across a range of projects with the opportunity to develop your knowledge and that of other disciplines within the studio.
Experience:
Required:
- postgraduate degree in landscape architecture or architecture with proven experience in developing landscape designs in conjunction with architecture and master planning projects
- minimum of three years’ professional experience
- experience in delivering projects across all design stages as well as on site experience
- conceptual thinking and exceptional design sensibility
- excellent communication and coordination skills
- good horticultural knowledge and industry experience
- understanding and experience in delivering detailed construction packages
- experience in working directly with clients, team members and external consultants
- practical experience of CAD (2D and 3D) and Adobe Suite skills
- the ability to work effectively across a range of projects
- proactive, flexible, forward thinking, problem solving and open for new challenges
- UK driving license
Beneficial:
- experience working in a European landscape architecture office with project experience in the high end Residential UK market
- experience in producing site-specific ecology strategies
knowledge or experience of vertical landscapes, green walls and building integrated living systems - experience working in urban and rural environments.
- knowledge of project management and site supervision
- proficiency in ArchiCAD / Revit / BIM
- on the pathway to Chartership
