We have a passion for contemporary, sustainable design and work on bespoke residential and commercial projects at varied scales across London and the UK. We are currently working both remotely and from our office in working from Southwark.
Position
We are looking for a self-motivated and dynamic architect with experience and professionalism to join our team working on bespoke residential and hospitality projects.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect with an in-depth knowledge of all RIBA stages and steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed.
The role involves working collaboratively with the rest of the team on a wide range of projects and taking responsibility for a range of exciting architectural projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities and skills:
- create plans and drawings which clearly outline architectural design of project
- utilise knowledge of engineering, math, science and materials in order to create ideal finished product
- reporting to the project leader of the current project on a day-to-day basis and ultimately to the practice partners.
- strong design and technical detailing skills – Vectorworks experience is essential
- conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
- oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
- collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
Qualifications and requirements:
- being ideally an ARB registered architect
- two-year experience ideally post Part 3
- Experience in high end residential and hospitality (restaurants and hotels) required
- permission to work on the UK (no VISA sponsorship)
- strong organisational, creative and presentation skills
- proficient in Vectorworks
