Bristol, UK
Architect/Part 2 architectural assistant
at 310 Studio
310 Studio is seeking an architect/Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in Bristol, UK.
310 Studio is a design-focussed architectural practice founded in 2005. It has offices in Bristol and, well, nowhere else in the world. We do however work on projects across the UK and further afield with completed projects in France, Ireland, Australia and have recently completed a one-off house in Dallas, Texas.
The practice was shortlisted for the 2022 AJ Small Projects Awards and the AJ National Awards for our own studio and office development in the heart of Bristol this year. We work on a range of commercial, heritage and residential projects.
We are a small team and work collaboratively to determine shared targets and achieve them within a friendly environment that supports personal and professional development. We encourage each person to take on individual areas of responsibility and develop specialisms that are of interest to them and which add to the greater knowledge base of the studio. We have set ourselves ambitious goals to embed sustainability in everything we do and this is a strong preoccupation for the practice.
Our workload is a mix of commercial, large heritage/listed building projects and some residential work.
We work from Brightbow Workspace in Bristol’s Bedminster, five mins walk from the riverside and city centre. Brightbow is a building that is owned by the studio, is a test bed for ideas and is soon to commence Phase 3 of its redevelopment plan, which we’re very excited about!
