Cross Works is looking for an associate to join its team in London.
We are on the lookout for an associate with excellent project and team management skills and very strong design capabilities to join our growing team based in London.
We’re a friendly, enthusiastic and highly motivated collective, growing in order to meet an increased demand across a variety of sectors. We envisage the new recruit to be a long-term part of the team and welcome those who would like to develop as a central member of a fast growing business.
We’re currently working on a number of iconic projects internationally, spanning a diverse range of typologies and scales from mixed-use architectural projects through to large-scale masterplanning schemes and megaprojects, to urban analytics and GIS strategies.
The following knowledge, capabilities and experience will be required in order to be shortlisted for interview:
- architect with a minimum of ten years of demonstrable professional experience (i.e. in practice) in architecture and/or urban design
- exceptional design skills with experience in the management of large-scale international projects and a passion for cities and urban design
- a client-focused problem solver, with a propensity to work with clients to curate solutions that meet specific project requirements
- excellent team leader with delegation skills, comfortable running multiple projects concurrently
- advanced knowledge of (and ability to efficiently use) 3D software (proficiency in Rhino and Revit are highly beneficial)
- excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with wider project teams and consultants
- strong command of the English language (spoken and written)
Competitive salary and benefits (dependent on experience and capabilities), including a bonus scheme.
This position will require working in an office environment in London.
